Onion Flake
This dried yellow onion flake from California is sweet and loaded with flavor. This is a convenient form of onion for dips, rubs, and spice blends—you can use it chunky, crush, or grind it. Try making your own dry soup mixes for camping trips and hiking.
Onion Granules
Granulated onion is a wonderfully versatile addition to the spice pantry. The flavor is intense and concentrated, and the granulated form disperses readily into all manner of dishes—from soups and stews, to dressings and sauces. Onion granules can also be a life saving flavor-fixer at the "adjust seasonings to taste" step of your recipe. Just add a pinch for robust onion flavor.
Onion Powder
Onion powder is a pantry staple that provides concentrated onion flavor in dips and rubs.
Onyx Rose
This malty Keemun blend has hints of citrusy coriander, sweet orange, and bergamot mixed with delicate rose petals that give the tea a mild floral sweetness. A perfect pick me up for afternoon tea. The roses and coriander make this very light, accounting for the high tea to water ratio. Brewing Instructions: Steep 1-2 teaspoons of tea per 8oz of water at 180°F. Be sure to cover your tea while steeping for 2 minutes to capture the best floral flavor.
Orange Peel
This large 1/4" chop is perfect for infusion into teas and added to Chai spice blends. The essential oil in the large piece needs plenty of liquid to infuse its flavor, so be sure not to constrain the orange peel in the brewing process. Flow freely and strain after the infusion is accomplished.
Orange Tarragon
In southern France, the combination of orange and tarragon has long history. For this blend we expanded with the French influence, incorporating chives, shallots, garlic, and black pepper. The result has a bright, lightly floral flavor that pairs well with delicate fish, chicken, pasta, and vegetables such as asparagus or green beans.
Osaka Seasoned Salt
Rich vegetal flavors infuse this Japanese inspired seasoning salt. As you would expect from a country surrounded by ocean, the Japanese have infused the flavors of the sea into their cuisine, and this seasoned salt is a simple way to bring that same taste to your foods. Using sesame and seaweed in perfect tandem, Osaka Seasoned Salt is a natural with all seafood and is great for perking up rice or soba noodles. We love it on grilled corn, sliced tomatoes, breakfast eggs, or steamed vegetables.
