What's a dish you cook that means "I love you"?
The thing you make for someone special.
The thing you make for someone special.
If someone needs a little extra love - be it a friend, a partner, a family member, or anyone you care for - what's your go-to dish to help them feel better? Is it different for different people?

I have a friend that moved 2 and 1/2 hours away. Every year she drives down to bring me a birthday cake. She loves baklava, so every year for her birthday I make baklava.
She spent a whole day with me once to see how I made it, so she appreciates the labor of love that goes into making it.
Baklava is time-consuming. Where did you learn to make it?
A Greek friend of mine showed me her method.
I only make it once a year nowadays, but since my friends' birthday is in Nov, I make two 9x13 inch pans of it at the same time to share for the holidays.
When I make it next month, I will post a picture of it and the recipe. Hopefully a picture of the recipe will be good enough to read.
I would LOVE to see it!
When you go to make a recipe, there's a big green button that says "Format with AI." You can upload a photo of the recipe, and the system will attempt to convert it for you.
Thank you for the tip. I'm not too tech savvy, so I can use all the help available.
I'll let you know if I run into trouble.
