Cooks Club

Some days go wrong from the moment you get up, and stay wrong.

When one of those days finally ends and you get to the kitchen, what happens next? Maybe you cook something that takes an hour on purpose, because standing at the stove takes your mind off it. Maybe you eat standing over the sink. Maybe you order in and call it a win.

What's the bad-day plan at your house?

I'm the same way. If I'm not in the right headspace things don't turn out how I want them and then I'm crankier than I was before. Better to take a day off from the stove.
