The dish that tastes like the place you are from, or the place you made for yourself.
September is Comfort Food month in Cooks Club, and this is where we would like to start.
Home is not always where you started out. It might be your grandmother's kitchen, or the first apartment where you cooked for yourself, or a country you have visited once and thought about ever since.
Tell us the dish that means home to you, and who you first ate it with. If you have the recipe, put it in. If all you have is the memory and a rough guess at the ingredients, that counts too, and somebody here may help you work out the rest.
