Come On In

Welcome! Thank you for being here first.

We've been working on Cooks Club for more than a year. It started as a heap of wild ideas and hand-drawn charts, went through many long conversations and a great deal of programming, and it's finally ready to share. Getting to open the door and show off the space is the best part by a mile. The programming isn't finished and neither is the content, but the piece we're missing most is the people. That's why we wanted you here before anyone else.

We built Cooks Club because cooking is one of the oldest ways people have come together in community, and because nobody should have to do it on their own. There are recipes in here to find and save, other cooks to ask when something goes wrong at the stove, and somewhere to share the things you've worked out yourself.

What we're hoping is that you'll want to burrow in. Open the cabinets, shuffle through the jars, have a look in the back of the fridge and work out what you could make with what's in there. When you want to add something of your own, the ADD button at the top right will start you a recipe, a story, a list, or whatever else you have in mind.

Some of this space is still being built, and we're sure there are some bugs buzzing about. Please let us know what you find.

We'd also like to know what you liked, what irritated you, what you want more of, and what you went looking for and couldn't find. Don't spare our feelings.

We hope it feels as good to walk into as it did to build.
