Use the ADD button at the top of any page and choose Recipe. That drops you into the editor with an empty recipe ready to go.
If the recipe already exists somewhere else, try Import & Format at the top of the editor before you type a word. Paste the text from a website, an email, or your notes app, or upload photos of a handwritten card or a cookbook page, then choose Structure My Recipe. It sorts what you gave it into a title, ingredients, and steps, so you spend your time editing instead of retyping. Read it over afterward, since it hasn't met your grandmother's handwriting.
Then fill in what you know and leave the rest. Prep time, cook time, servings, and difficulty all show on the recipe card when people browse. Tags decide where your recipe turns up, so a couple of accurate ones help your recipe be seen. There's a field for a Spotify playlist if you cook to music.
The Preview button shows you how it'll look before anyone else sees it, and nothing goes public until you press Publish.
