About this Recipe
A local Pakistani restaurant makes something like this and during covid, we longed for nights out, but confined to home it was time to try and recreate some of our favorites, this was one that we keep making (and it is really quite different from what we get again in the restaurant, so I probably should give it a very different name).
6 goat chops
3 inches ginger
3 large cloves garlic
1 T cumin seed
1 T turmeric
2 Serrano chilis (or preferred amount)
¼ c. cilantro
3 tomatoes
2 medium onions
butter
olive oil
Brown chops in olive oil. Remove and add butter, onions, garlic, turmeric, chilis, and cumin seed. Saute until onions are soft, then add tomatoes. When tomatoes have released juice, add cilantro, stir, then nestle chops in liquid, turning occasionally until chops are tender, ca. 30 min.

Notes & Tips
The chili level can be adjusted to taste and I often used frozen ones from our garden if we make this over the off-chili season time. Lamb can also be substituted for the goat if it goat is harder to find.
