About this Recipe
Get ready for the ultimate flavor-packed treat – loaded sweet potatoes! They're a fantastic side dish or a solo star. Customize the toppings to your preference and savor the comforting flavors of butter, maple sugar, and cinnamon.
So easy to make, toss 'em on a sheet pan, and they'll be ready just in time for dinner.
Instructions
1
Preheat your oven to 400°F
2
Wash the sweet potatoes thoroughly and pat them dry with a paper towel.
3
Pierce each sweet potato several times with a fork to create small holes. This helps steam escape while baking.
4
Place the sweet potatoes directly on a baking sheet. Bake for approximately 1 hour, or until the sweet potatoes are tender and can be easily pierced with a fork.
5
While the sweet potatoes are baking, prepare the toppings so they can easily be sprinkled to taste.
6
Once the sweet potatoes are done baking, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly for a few minutes. Using a knife, make a lengthwise slit along the top of each sweet potato, creating an opening to stuff. Gently push on the ends of each sweet potato to open the slit wider.
7
Add a dab of butter to taste.
8
Sprinkle the Cinnamon Toast Spice and Maple Sugar over the buttered flesh of each sweet potato and finish with a pinch of Pacific Flake Sea Salt.
9
Enjoy the delicious combination of sweet and savory flavors in every bite!
