About this Recipe

I absolutely love floral teas, and Chrysanthemum Flower is no exception. While in Singapore, I had the pleasure of trying it in various forms, but the spa version was simply divine.

The aroma of the tea was like walking through a fresh garden, and the addition of lime gave it a delightful citrusy kick. The honey provided just the right amount of sweetness, and the tea was so refreshing on a hot sauna.

It was the perfect way to unwind and relax after a long flight.

Instructions

1
Place your tea in a tea basket or strainer and set into the the pot. Leave enough room in the basket for the flowers to double in size once steeped.
2
Pour boiling water over the tea. Let it steep for 3 - 5 minutes. Remove the tea basket and reserve the tea. (A batch of chrysanthemum can be steeped more then once.)
3
Add the honey and lime juice and stir until the honey has dissolved. Garnish the cups of tea with lime wheels and serve warm.
