Instructions

Slice the heirloom tomatoes into thin, even slices.

Spread 1-2 tablespoons of mayonnaise evenly on one side of each slice of bread.

Arrange the tomato slices on one slice of bread.

Sprinkle freshly ground Tellicherry black pepper and Pacific flake sea salt over the tomato slices to taste.

Place the second slice of bread, mayonnaise side down, on top of the tomatoes to complete the sandwich.
